Despite It's large size, Levemet has a low gravity field. Some suggest that it has no core, or is hollow. This would explain the small size of it's inhabitants.
Levemet is a rather weather-worn planet, and is covered in sheets of ice. It's 'plated' look comes from ice that has melted into and reformed out from in between these cracks. From what can be found, this has happened many times, starting about 8.5 billion years ago.
